Opalfever is very addictive, once you are hooked to opal, you may find yourself spending the rest of your life on some opalfield. I spent 7 years with this addiction before I did something else. You can spend all your money on opal and mining, as long as you are happy doing it. Some find millons, some find beautiful opal- it is up to you! Opal is a lucky stone, and the right opal makes his /her owner very happy. No stone is like the other, nobody can get the same stone like you wear, it is as individual as you are yourself!

Aber Achtung: Opalfieber macht süchtig! Es ist durchaus möglich, dass jemand den Rest seines Lebens auf irgendeinem Opalfeld verbringt. Auf der Suche nach "DEM" Opal. Ich tat es für 7 (!) Jahre. Und ich bereue keinen Tag davon.
